"Maitreya Proyect is based on the belief that loving-kindness leads to peace at every level of the society: peace for individuals, families and the world. The Proyect is building a 500ft/152m bronze statue of Maitreya Buddha in northern India to bless and inspire the minds and hearts of all. It is also providing spiritual, educational and medical facilities for the public, wich will help countless people around the world.
Enclosed is a small sacred image of Maitreya Buddha, which is based on the statue being build in India. We ask that you place your sacred image in a location that is clean and protected, and where it will inspire those who see it to act with loving-kindness".
